Running any martial arts club requires more than just martial arts. People cannot be made to train or made to keep training, they have to be kept motivated and want to train. Just because you can kick the crap out of a student is no guarantee they will train each week, not that we would recommend that you do that.

You simply provide a market choice that if they cease to enjoy it they give it up. The success to keeping things interesting means you have to constantly finds new things to offer the students. Keep things changing, offer them events, show them promo material give your students a choice so they feel in control and importantly empowered part of your club.

Many training courses we offer are about customer service, we wont try and teach you a new martial art or show you who's boss. Your the boss we want to provide you with additional services to help you achieve YOUR goals are even help you IDENTIFY your goals.

Competition:

  • We only provide general light competition and leave full contact to the specialists. Most students are hobbyists and do martial arts as a recreation and rely on a full time job to provide an income. Although we have nothing against full contact we recognise if students had injuries it could effect class numbers and instructor credibility. Our competitions are a stepping stone in the path of a full contact competitor. They use our S Factor events to get the skills and then increase their tolerance if they need to go full contact.
