Bio

Started training in Traditional Karate at the age of 11 in 1981 at a club who trained in our school hall. Over the next few years I tried tae kwon do etc Until settling into Kickboxing with Paul Blakely who sadly died a few years ago. My second kickboxing Instructor was Adrian poulter he taught us Kickboxing and kung fu. At the same time as kickboxing I was also doing Muay thai with a man called Mick Samitees  and Ju jisu with various instructors. I Took My Black Belt in kickboxing under professor Brian Dosset a great man in 1989 at the age of 18

I did my Sci Ju jitsu Black belt with Brian Dosset 2 years later I went on to pass my instructors exam in Thai Boxing around the same time I also took my instructors exam under Paul Griffin in Brithai Karate which I still teach to this day to my Junior Students as you can see this time was a busy time for me.

In the year 2000 I passed a krav maga course based in longeaton Derbyshire which led me to develop my own style of direct self defence called UDS urban defence systems, That I teach along side my other classes
