Your
martial art is a subject matter like history or
mathematics. If you wish to teach your subject you
need to add a "professional teaching qualification"
from a "recognised body". If you teach martial arts
you cannot afford to be an amateur and your
certification provides the evidence you meet the
standard of a specific organisation who issues the
certificate. The organisation issuing the
certification must be recognised by your local
council authority.
Modules
within the BBI martial arts instructors teaching
qualifications are:
-
ð
Coaching (how the body
learns and anatomy)
-
ð
First Aid (dealing with
accidental injury)
-
ð
Health & Safety (avoiding
risk and risk assessment)
-
ð
Child Protection
(protecting children)
-
ð
PTC from the CIEH. (using
neuro learning processes)
-
ð
Your Martial Art. (black
belt or equiv)
We use a training provider who are an
accredited centre with the Chartered
Institute of Environmental Health and
the modules are stand alone qualifications.
If you have been teaching for many years
rest assured we wont teach you about martial
arts. These modules together add up to a
professional qualification which will make a
real difference. The separate certification
for the modules provide the evidence you
need to show you are competent and
recognised by your local authority.
Supporting the BBI allows you to gain and
renew your qualifications at very low cost
or for free with some promotions. Many
members who support us develop their own
training programmes which are recognised
internationally. |
